2010 swim team commitment form
Swimmers are expected to attend a minimum of 5 meets during the summer season. Swimmers must complete a combination of dual and invitational meets to earn a trophy at the end of the season. Plaques are awarded to all others. Parents chooose the meets that the swimmers will attend. Indicate below the meets your family will participate in (minimum 5) by checking the appropriate box provided next to the meet date. Don't forget to mark your personal calendar as well. You will receive a copy of your submitted email and we will send out a confirmation notice of these dates. Changing meets later will be possible. More information will follow for the add/drop procedures. NOTE: No refunds for swim team fees after Monday, May 17th.

Parent Requirements: Parents must commit to volunteer at a minimum of 5 meets in a job that supports the function of the meet. The best snenario is when parents volunteer at meets in which their children are swimming. (FYI: The parent volunteer commitment for Oakwood's swim team is significantly less than on neighboring teams). We will train you for any job that you will have to perform at the meets. Every family is also expected to help out with the social activities for the team. There are Fun Fridays for the kids, crafts, and games during Spirit week and planning of special meals for the team throughout the season. Sign-ups for parent volunteer jobs and ways to help with social activities will occur at the parents meeting scheulded for May 13, 2010. Signature: By submitting this form online I agree to have my child(ren) swim in 5 meets and I will volunteer to work in 5 meets and help with at least one social activity.
