Progress can be measured by ability to swim increased distances; fewer rest periods needed to finish a distance; and a general feeling of well being after a workout.
Dick Jacobberger: Held numerous national age group records. High School All-American in butterfly and freestyle. Lettered in varsity swimming at Indiana University and Cal.
